Here is our wish list for October! :)
I’d like to have a fun “touchy, feely” science center set up where the kids can observe, touch, feel, hold, weigh, even smell some different sized pumpkins, squash, and Indian corn.
We will cut one of the large pumpkins open to see what the pulp looks like, feel the inside, count the seeds, etc.
If you would like to help make a donation, please look at what is listed below.
If you would like to donate any of the following, please send in this week if possible.
-one “large” pumpkin (about the size of a basketball)
-one “medium” pumpkin (about the size of a cantaloupe)
-one "unusual" pumpkin - a different color than orange, or an unusual variety (there are 42 kinds of pumpkins!!)
-one small pumpkin (about the size of an apple)
-one (or bunch if that’s how it’s sold) Indian corn
-one “medium” squash/gourd
-one “small” squash/gourd
