The Student Video Contest for 2011 is over, and we're currently discussing plans for a contest in 2012. Check back in the spring for more information.

Introducing the Third Annual Student Video Contest

Make a movie, win some cash.

The Student Film Club from Springfield Public Schools is announcing its third annual student video contest, open to all Central Illinois middle and high school students.

Videos may be created in any genre and style but MUST contain all of the following elements in some fashion:

Window, Smile, Cheese

The items above do not have to play a major role in the video, but the judges will be looking for creativity. Videos have to be 3 minutes in length or less, including credits.

The deadline is May 2nd, 2011, 4:30pm. All entries must be submitted on a format playable on a computer (DVD or QuickTime preferred). Deliver video and entry form to:

Three finalists will have their videos shown at the Student Film Club’s Premiere Night at the Springfield High School Auditorium on May 6th, 2011 at 7:00pm. The winner will be announced at the end of the evening.
