If you can't make this opportunity please make sure to schedule a back to school physical for your student with your primary care physician.

PROJECT SCOPE: As you know District 186 regular calendar students do not return to school until Tuesday, January 7 (Balanced Calendar students return January 14th). However, our SCOPE program for SCOPE students will still be in operation as scheduled for Monday, January 6, but run condensed hours and locations:
Tomorrow Monday, January 6, 2025 - Scope will be open from 7:45 a.m. - 5:15 p.m.

District 186 is hosting a career fair on January 9, 2025 4-6 p at the District Office, 3063 Fiat Ave.
ELC students will have a 2:30 dismissal on Friday December 20, 2024.
Please join us for Family Fun Friday on Friday November 22nd during your child's school hours. We will be featuring performances by the Tater Tots. Due to limited space, only 1 adult per student. Adults must be on student's approved emergency contact. We will not be able to accommodate siblings.
The Central Illinois Foodbank will be hosting a Thanksgiving Distribution on November 25th at 4:00.
The Foodbank will be giving out turkeys, apples, broccoli, pumpkin pie, blocks of cheese and a Thanksgiving themed dry box of goods. The limit is 2 boxes per vehicle. We will also have hygiene items available for anyone who needs them.

As a reminder, Thursday, October 17th, will be a 60-minute early dismissal for all students to accommodate Parent-Teacher Conferences. Additionally, there will be no school on Friday, October 18th, as conferences will continue throughout the day.
We value the opportunity to connect with you during these conferences to discuss your child’s academic progress and growth. Your involvement and partnership are essential to their success, and we appreciate your commitment to their educational journey.

Parent Teacher Conferences will be held on October 17 and 18th at the ELC. There will be no school for students on those days. We look forward to seeing everyone! Double check with your child's teacher if you are unsure of the date and/or time.
