A beautiful bench was dedicated and two trees were planted in Lincoln Park in honor of Chuck Flamini. Lanphier High School teacher, Scott Metzke, collected donations from current and former LHS staff to purchase the bench and trees. Yesterday ,friends and family gathered for the dedication at Lincoln Park. Chuck left his mark on our community as a friend, teacher, union activist, school administrator and school board member. You can visit the Flamini bench in Lincoln park right beside the playground area. "I picked this spot because it faces towards Lanphier High School" said Scott Metzke.

Congratulations to Addie Bohlen for being the very 1st student to receive The Fairview Falcon Award.
Each year every teacher awards a student from their classroom the “Principal’s Award.” This award goes to a student who goes above and beyond. A student who tries their best, is kind to others and a friend to all.
When we were working on the awards this year we realized that for the 1st time ever a student had received the Principal Award all six years!! So we decided that needed to be celebrated!
Congratulations Addie! We are so proud of you and can’t wait to see you soar at Lincoln Magnet!
Heart of Gold Award
This is the first year for this very special award at Fairview and it is in memory of Elesia Wilson, a very special little girl that touched everyone's lives that knew her and . Her presence could light up a room and her bravery and smile could make anyone's day better.
In honor of Elesia, each year a student will be chosen for the Heart of Gold Award. This student embodies the qualities of Elesia that we all love.
This years student always has a “good morning” for everyone and is kind to everyone she encounters. She has been a shining light this year, and has made so many days brighter with her smile and positive attitude.
Congratulations to Erin Day-Wolford for being our 1st Heart of Gold recipient.
Thank you to Elesia’s family for allowing us to honor her in this way and for joining us to help present the award.
We ended the year with a wonderful awards ceremony. We are so proud of all of our students who worked so hard this year!
