Welcome back, Fireflies! 2025 has bought us a Winter Wonderland to kick off the year. School will resume for students tomorrow, in person. Please dress your students accordingly and be as safe as possible. Contact the office in the morning with questions or concerns regarding attendance. Please know that transportation may take a little longer due to road conditions. Technology will come home each day for a while to ensure that each student is prepared for possible E-learning days during the winter months. Comynication is key, so don't hesitate to reach out to your student's classroom teacher via ROOMS. We can't wait to see you all. As always, take care & be well.
PROJECT SCOPE: As you know District 186 regular calendar students do not return to school until Tuesday, January 7 (Balanced Calendar students return January 14th). However, our SCOPE program for SCOPE students will still be in operation as scheduled for Monday, January 6, but run condensed hours and locations:
Tomorrow Monday, January 6, 2025 - Scope will be open from 7:45 a.m. - 5:15 p.m.

Butler, Dubois, and Graham - report to Dubois Elementary

Congratulations to our December 16th, 2024 Firefly Students of the Week!!
Firefly families and staff are invited to join us for Gingerbread Math Day on December 17th, 2024, at Feitshans Elementary School. We have made a few adjustments to the time frame and activities planned. Please come and support your students from 10-11:15am.

As we approach the holiday season, I am excited to share some fun activities for our Firefly families and staff. Please look at the attached flyers for details on upcoming community events. These activities can be a wonderful way to engage our students and their families during this festive time.

I am excited to share that Firefly families and staff are invited to join us for Gingerbread Math Day on December 17th, 2024, at Feitshans Elementary School in the Gym. This event promises to be a wonderful opportunity for our students to engage in Math and Reading activities while enjoying some delicious hot chocolate and more.
Please refer to the flyer for details on grade-level times. Your participation would mean a lot to the students, and I look forward to seeing everyone there!

Dear Firefly Families,
Thank you for your continued support and involvement in our school community. I am excited to invite you to our Firefly students' Winter Fine Arts Program tomorrow! It promises to be a wonderful event celebrating our students' talents.
Additionally, we will have FREE food bags available for you to enjoy, including bags of potatoes, apples, carrots, ground beef, cheese, and pies. Who doesn't want a free pie?!! If you can't make it tomorrow, feel free to stop by the school this afternoon to pick up some potatoes and carrots in front of the school.
