The safety and security of every student in Springfield Public Schools District 186 is always a top priority. To help us maintain a safe learning environment, we are enhancing our visitor check-in process at schools with front desk supervisors including : Harvard Park Elementary, Franklin Middle School, Grant Middle School, Jefferson Middle School, Lincoln Magnet School, Washington Middle School, Lanphier High School, Southeast High School, Springfield High School, Douglas School and Springfield Learning Academy.
Beginning Tuesday, October 14, we will begin using our CENTEGIX Visitor Management System.
Here’s what this means for you:
Bring your valid state-issued ID or driver’s license each time you visit a middle or high school.
You will not be admitted into the school without this documentation.
Our staff will scan your ID and print a visitor badge for you to wear while in the building.
When you leave, you will check out at the front desk and return your badge.
This process takes only a few seconds but makes a big difference in keeping our schools safe and welcoming.
