With Second Quarter just starting, consider becoming an observer on your child's Canvas account. This allows you to see when homework is assigned, upcoming tests and quizzes, and graded work. To become and observer, follow these steps:
Use the link "Canvas for Parents".
From there, click on the link at the log-in page "Parent of a Canvas User? Click Here for an Account"
Fill in information, and then have your student generate a pairing code from their account. Watch the link on how to do this.

JMS Music is kicking off its main fundraiser on October 11th. Follow the instructions below to participate. Top sellers have opportunities to win awesome prizes!

In leading up to student-led conferences on October 17th (mark your calendar!!), and all of us getting back into the swing of school, I wanted to create a fun activity to allow you to learn more about your student's school day as well as some online tools to help support your JMS Jaguar. Attached you will find a QR code to access a student support bingo card. scan the link with your phone camera and take a screenshot of the card. From there you can edit the card by using the writing function on your phone. Make sure you save the screenshot of the bingo card to your phone in order to edit as you finish tasks with your student. Email back the finished card to me at dperry@sps186.org with the subject line containing your student's name. If you need a paper copy, please email me and I can send one home with your student. From there, attend student-led conferences on October 17th to enter your student in a raffle for a variety of prizes.
