The weather couldn't have been more perfect, and our student athletes were ready to shine.
The competition was nothing short of thrilling as Springfield High, Southeast High School, Lanphier High School, and Sacred Heart Griffin put it all on the line! The heats were close, and the field events were absolutely fantastic, showcasing the immense talent we have in our area. Congratulations to Springfield High School Boys for taking home the title!!
Amidst the excitement, there was a touching moment as Southeast High School's Athletic Director Tiffany Williams spoke heartfelt words about Keyon Day, a beloved student-athlete who tragically passed away last week. The entire SSHS track team, along with coaches, surrounded Keyon's family with love and support, presenting them with a commemorative track jersey and baton as a beautiful tribute to their teammate's legacy.
In times like these, our community shows its true strength by coming together to support one another with love and compassion.
