-Did you know that Scholastic Bowl is an I-H-S-A recognized sport that has little chance of giving you a concussion? It just so happens that Lanphier High School has a team led by Mr. Dulski. He is located in room 3-002. He wants you on the team. He knows you have the brains and the knowledge to kick Central State Eight rump. Come to his room TODAY after school to learn all about the greatest invention since sliced bread – LHS Scholastic Bowl!  See you then!

-The fall National Honor Society-hosted blood drive will be held on Wednesday, September 24th in the auditorium. If you are interested in donating blood to help save lives and you are at least 16 years old, then visit Mrs. Corcoran in the library to sign up for a time slot. Blood donors receive their choice of a $20 gift card voucher to places like Walmart, Amazon, Starbucks, and more.

- Now for a moment of silence

-Please Rise for the Pledge of Allegiance.

"I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

And now it’s time for today’s welcoming ritual. Please take some time to discuss your response with your class: Yesterday, we did not have school because we observed the holiday, Labor Day.  Labor Day is often looked at as the "official end of summer." Thinking back through the summer season, what is a favorite memory or moment that you experienced?

Have a Great Day Lions!
