  • It’s officially time for our March Madness Attendance Challenge! For the entire month of March, your floor teams will compete in a bracket-style showdown based on first hour attendance. The teams will be the purple floor, the blue floor, the red floor, the orange floor, and the yellow floor plus all classrooms and the gyms on the main floor (music, PE, and classes off of the Atrium area). The teams with the highest attendance percentages will advance each round — and only one team will be crowned our March Madness Attendance Champion! Here’s how it works: Round One runs TODAY through March 6th and the top three teams move on. Round Two will run March 9th–13th and the top two teams advance. The Championship Round will run March 23rd–27th and one team wins it all! The winning team will earn a Lunch of Champions — Pizza and a Movie on April 3rd! And yes — YOU get to vote for the movie! But wait — there’s more! Any student on ANY TEAM with 90% or higher attendance for the entire month of March will make our ALL-STAR TEAM!  All-Star students will: Receive a prize or concession snack on April 1st and have a chance to submit a prediction for the Final score of the Championship game of the NCAA tournament - top winners will get a gift card! So remember — every day matters, Show up. Be on time. Help your team advance. Let the madness begin!

  •  Please Rise for the Pledge of Allegiance: "I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all."

And now it’s time for today’s welcoming ritual. Please take some time to discuss your response with your class: Did you know the month of March is Women’s History Month? If you could interview one historical influential woman, who would it be and why?

Have a great day, Lions!
