MONDAY — Meet Up Monday

CIRCLE UP • CONNECT • BELONG

We start our week by connecting with each other.

Some Mondays we'll circle up as a whole class. Other weeks we may meet in small groups, partner groups, WEB groups, or different LMS Huddles.

The goal: Build relationships, strengthen our community, and make sure everyone has a place to belong.

🎯 TUESDAY — Target Tuesday

CHECK OUR GRADES • SET A GOAL • TAKE ACTION

Where are you right now—and where do you want to go?

Tuesday is our weekly opportunity to:

  • Check grades and Canvas

  • Look for missing assignments

  • Celebrate progress

  • Set a goal for the week

  • Identify your next step - TAKE ACTION.

The goal: Know your target and make a plan to reach it. * Grade Sheets are due to Advisory/ AVID Teachers by Friday.

🧭 WEDNESDAY — WIN Wednesday

What I Need

REFLECT • IDENTIFY • ADVOCATE

What do you need to be successful this week?

Our BBSS Tier 1 team will help us with cool tools to be successful.

Maybe you need help with an assignment. Maybe you need to finish something, ask a question, get organized, or challenge yourself to go further.

The goal: Learn to recognize what you need and take ownership of getting there.

💡 THURSDAY — Think Tank Thursday

THINK • CREATE • COLLABORATE

Thursday is about discovering what's possible!

We might showcase:

  • A cool project happening at LMS

  • A new technology tool

  • An Apple tip or resource

  • Something another class is creating

  • A challenge or idea to try

  • A resource that can help you learn, design, or create

The goal: Get inspired, try something new, and see what other Leopards are building.

✋ FRIDAY — Fun-damental Friday

CELEBRATE • CONNECT • HIGH FIVE

We finish the week by celebrating the people, learning, and experiences that make LMS special.

High Five Friday: We may take announcements on the road and visit a different classroom, program, or location in the building to see what's happening there.

You never know where Friday announcements might come from!

The goal: Celebrate our school, recognize one another, and discover what's happening beyond your own classroom.

Cell phones are to remain in your backpack until you are OUTSIDE of the building after school.

We look forward to seeing our students and staff at our home football games! But, we want to remind you of the code of conduct. The Code of Conduct and the guidelines of the student handbook apply to all students while on District 186 property, adjacent property or engaged in school-sponsored activities. Any misconduct before, during or after the game will be handled by the administration at the student’s school and will result in consequences.

Please note that students who are suspended and/or expelled are not permitted to attend school events , including games. If a suspended or expelled student purchases a ticket and is admitted by mistake, they will be required to leave, and no refunds will be issued.

All spectators are expected to remain seated during games. Anyone found standing or roaming for an extended period of time will be asked to sit in the stands, failure to comply will result in being removed from the stadium.

Also failing to abide by the football stadium expectations may result in you being escorted from the stadium. If you are escorted from the stadium you will not be allowed to return to future games .

No unaccompanied minors will be allowed entry into games. All K-8th grade students should be with an adult who is responsible for their actions and monitors their movement during the games. They should be sitting watching the games and limit walking around unless using the restroom or visiting the concession stand. Students can not attend without an adult - they will not be allowed entry.

Football games will conclude around 9:15 p.m., announcements will be made for students to call for their ride at the start of 4th quarter at every game. Please make sure your ride, if needed, is at the stadium to pick you up at that time.

We want to cheer on our teams, have great District 186 spirit and have a good time. Thank you for assisting the Administration and the Springfield Police Department in this manner.
