Hey Spartans, if you are ever absent or just want to go back to see announcements because something really cool caught your attention.

Go to the Southeast webpage, scroll down and you will see the current announcements. If you want to see older announcements, click on SEE ALL POSTS.

From there you can click on any date, and either view the video, or quickly read through the printed copy to find practice times, club announcements, or just general information. 

Seniors!!!! Jostens will be here for a presentation on September 11.  You will meet in the auditorium during 5th hour.

They will then return for orders on September 17 during lunch and September 18 before school.  Both of these ordering times will take place in the Commons. (Run T &Th)

Seniors-

If you got an early graduation contract from Mrs. Metz, they are due back to Guidance by September 18.  You must have a contract on file with Mrs. Metz by this date if you intend to graduate in December.  

Reminder to check lost/found. We will not be holding lost/found items longer than a month. So if you're missing anything please come to the student office and check.

Clubs/Opportunities

Poetry Club will meet TODAY from 3:30-4 pm in room 109. We will be discussing officer elections, so be sure to attend if you'd like to run for an officer position. Please see Mrs. Collins with any questions!

Sports

Boys Basketball strength and conditioning has started. Meet Coach Hamilton at the track if interested in joining the team.

Awards/Celebrations

Coach Hamilton, our boys basketball coach, and Senator Doris Turner have teamed up to promote non violence in schools. Many things will be offered from this grant money, but one thing everyone enjoyed last year and could participate in was Gift Card Giveaway Friday. All you have to do is be referral free, that includes cell phone, headphones, and dress code referrals. There is a little bit of a difference this year, instead of being referral free for the WHOLE year, Coach Hamilton wants students to reflect on their referrals, make necessary changes, and get another chance at a gift card. So each month is a fresh start. How do you know if you win? Watch Friday morning announcements. The wheel will spin and name 3 big winners of $50 gift cards to be claimed in the student office. So check those Friday morning announcements and stay referral free each month!
