Hey Spartans, if you are ever absent or just want to go back to see announcements because something really cool caught your attention.

Go to the Southeast webpage, scroll down and you will see the current announcements. If you want to see older announcements, click on SEE ALL POSTS.

From there you can click on any date, and either view the video, or quickly read through the printed copy to find practice times, club announcements, or just general information. 

If you have lost anything, please check the student office lost and found. It will be donated and thrown away today after school.

Good Morning Spartans! Students who would like to volunteer to work concessions at the games must sign up with Mr. DeWayne in the main office. If you have not signed up you will not be allowed to work or hangout. 

For Wednesday

The Southeast Boys Basketball team kicks off their season in Decatur tonight at the Turkey Tournament. Drive safely and support the team as they play against the tournament host, Decatur MacArthur at 7:30 PM. The tournament is held at Stephen Decatur Middle School and the cost of admission is $10.00, which is good for two games. Arrive early to see Peoria Manual play Champaign Central at 6 PM. 

ESPORTS- Splatoon 3 and Minecraft Bedwars will both be held TODAY at Lanphier Esports Lab starting at 4-7pm 

The Southeast Wrestling Team will open its season at the 'First Timer' meet on TONIGHT @ Lanphier High School.  This is an event where wrestlers who've never wrestled a match get an opportunity to compete.  Wrestling is scheduled to start at 6pm

Awards/Celebrations

Coach Hamilton, our boys basketball coach, and Senator Doris Turner have teamed up to promote non violence in schools. Many things will be offered from this grant money, but one thing everyone enjoyed last year and could participate in was Gift Card Giveaway Friday. All you have to do is be referral free, that includes cell phone, headphones, and dress code referrals. There is a little bit of a difference this year, instead of being referral free for the WHOLE year, Coach Hamilton wants students to reflect on their referrals, make necessary changes, and get another chance at a gift card. So each month is a fresh start. How do you know if you win? Watch Friday morning announcements. The wheel will spin and name 3 big winners of $50 gift cards to be claimed in the student office. So check those Friday morning announcements and stay referral free each month!
