Tuesday December 9th, 2025 Topic/Air length | SE Spartan AnnouncementsGood Morning, Southeast students and staff. It's Tuesday, December 9th, 2025! I’m _____________. Remember that successful Spartans ARE RESPECTFUL, they follow classroom and school-wide expectations, allow for learning throughout the building, and can think critically. And now for a moment of silence to start our day…Thank you. |
ㅡ General Inf0Hey Spartans, if you are ever absent or just want to go back to see announcements because something really cool caught your attention. Go to the Southeast webpage, scroll down and you will see the current announcements. If you want to see older announcements, click on SEE ALL POSTS. From there you can click on any date, and either view the video, or quickly read through the printed copy to find practice times, club announcements, or just general information. | Southeast National Honor Society is running their annual food drive. Please donate non-perishable items this week. The drop off area will be in the front before you go through the metal detectors. Information is on the flyer. If you have more questions, please ask Mrs. Latif. Boys and girls I know that the weather is getting colder, and sometimes the building feels colder than normal, so wear appropriate clothes to school (long pants and sweatshirts). BUT PLEASE remember that your arms need to be in the sleeves of your sweatshirt, and boys please stop putting your hands down your pants complaining it is cold. |

ㅡ Awards/CelebrationsCoach Hamilton, our boys basketball coach, and Senator Doris Turner have teamed up to promote non violence in schools. Many things will be offered from this grant money, but one thing everyone enjoyed last year and could participate in was Gift Card Giveaway Friday. All you have to do is be referral free, that includes cell phone, headphones, and dress code referrals. There is a little bit of a difference this year, instead of being referral free for the WHOLE year, Coach Hamilton wants students to reflect on their referrals, make necessary changes, and get another chance at a gift card. So each month is a fresh start. How do you know if you win? Watch Friday morning announcements. The wheel will spin and name 3 big winners of $50 gift cards to be claimed in the student office. So check those Friday morning announcements and stay referral free each month! | A big congratulations to our Varsity and JV Southeast Scholastic Bowl teams for competing hard all season long in the Central Illinois Scholastic League and Central State 8 Conference season. A special shout out goes to JV Team captain Jacob Entinghe for finishing as the second leading JV scorer this season in the Central State 8! Way to go Spartans! |
ㅡ Pledge | Now if you would please Stand for the Pledge… I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America And to the Republic for which it stands One nation, under God Indivisible with liberty and justice for all |
