Remember that successful Spartans ARE RESPECTFUL, they follow classroom and school-wide expectations, allow for learning throughout the building, and can think critically.

Hey Spartans, if you are ever absent or just want to go back to see announcements because something really cool caught your attention.

Go to the Southeast webpage, scroll down and you will see the current announcements. If you want to see older announcements, click on SEE ALL POSTS.

From there you can click on any date, and either view the video, or quickly read through the printed copy to find practice times, club announcements, or just general information. 

Boys and girls I know that the weather is getting colder, and sometimes the building feels colder than normal, so wear appropriate clothes to school (long pants and sweatshirts). BUT PLEASE remember that your arms need to be in the sleeves of your sweatshirt, and boys please stop putting your hands down your pants complaining it is cold.

For all young ladies who are interested in becoming a part of The Lady Spartan Track and Field Team.  There will be a meeting on both A and B lunch shifts in the auditorium TODAY.  There will be important information shared!

Awards/Celebrations

Coach Hamilton, our boys basketball coach, and Senator Doris Turner have teamed up to promote non violence in schools. Many things will be offered from this grant money, but one thing everyone enjoyed last year and could participate in was Gift Card Giveaway Friday. All you have to do is be referral free, that includes cell phone, headphones, and dress code referrals. There is a little bit of a difference this year, instead of being referral free for the WHOLE year, Coach Hamilton wants students to reflect on their referrals, make necessary changes, and get another chance at a gift card. So each month is a fresh start. How do you know if you win? Watch Friday morning announcements. The wheel will spin and name 3 big winners of $50 gift cards to be claimed in the student office. So check those Friday morning announcements and stay referral free each month!
