Richawn Crawford got scoring going with a tackle breaking run to get the Senators on the board for the first time. The Senators immediately got the ball back on an onside kick and marched down the field to get within one score after an Andrew Benning short rushing TD. In the fourth quarter the Senators got another Crawford rushing TD and a Benning to Jacob Scheffler toss to take their first lead. Central returned the next kickoff for a TD for their lone score of the second half. RC  immediately responded by returning the next kickoff for SHS to put the Senators right back up. The game was sealed by the most important lineman in the CS8, Matt Murphy, who got a fumble recovery and score to put SHS up by the final of 42-26. 1-0 to start the year!

  • Sometimes when you hear about things dropping it is a good thing, prices falling, new shoes, Mr. Dorr's mixtape, but our attendance numbers took a dip next week and that is not what we want! The seniors divided themselves out from the rest by being the only class to be present 91% each day last week. Friday saw the sophomores and juniors have their worst days yet. Overall we are still above our 91%, but we need each of you here each day! We also lost over 200 people in our perfect attendance list! We now have less than 700 who are in line to get the discounted Homecoming ticket and more! Learning happens when you miss, so be here to get that information. Every day counts at SHS!
