Senators show courage by doing the right thing even when others are not. You may fear that you won’t fit in if you don’t go along with the crowd. However, you will feel good later when you aren’t regretting a bad choice you made. And by doing the right thing, you may even help someone else to have courage to do the same. Have a great week from Be A Senator.
Students - don't forget to purchase your tickets for the City Tournament. Starting Today 1/20/26, tickets will be available for purchase during both lunch shifts. You can buy all four nights at once, or pick and choose. Buy them here and save some money. Tickets are $7 a night if purchased here, and $8 at the door.
This week kicks off the best week of the year, City Tournament week! We will celebrate with a spirit week. Dress code rules still apply. No props and be smart with what is part of your outfit. No full face masks are allowed. And NO PAJAMAS! Don't get Kramer yelled at for you wearing pajamas pants! He gets yelled at enough on his own. Check the Student Council social media page for more info or inspiration.
Here are the themes:
Tuesday - Luau/Hawaiian Day
Wednesday - Nostalgia Day - Dress like something that was your favorite from your childhood!
Thursday - Dynamic Duo or Sport - In honor of Lebron James and Dwayne Wade - find and dress your perfect pair or go all out sports wear
Friday - Spies/Black Out - Dress as a person of mystery on a mission, or go all black
Dress up each day. Prizes of cash, gift cards, and free city tickets will be passed out to those who are participating. Show up to games to support both teams to a championship and be loud to help keep the Spirit Award here at SHS! BEST WEEK OF THE YEAR!
