The “lasts” of senior year matter in such a big way. ❤️🎓

Tonight, our Class of 2026 seniors at Springfield High School - Illinois made waves as they were celebrated for their hard work, dedication, leadership, and achievements throughout their time at SHS.

Friends, families, staff, and classmates gathered together as Dr. Leardi and Superintendent Jennifer Gill honored seniors with awards and recognitions that reflected years of commitment inside and outside the classroom. It was a memorable evening and a meaningful way to celebrate all they have accomplished.

What made the night even more special was the energy in the room. The Class of 2026 filled Springfield High with cheers, applause, laughter, and support for one another, proving the bonds they’ve built over the years will last far beyond graduation day. From celebrating achievements big and small to making sure every classmate felt seen and recognized, tonight was a reminder that school is about so much more than academics. It’s about community, friendships, memories, and finding people who become part of your story forever.

These moments matter because they become the memories seniors carry with them into their next chapter. Years from now, they may not remember every assignment or test, but they’ll remember the feeling of being celebrated, supported, and surrounded by people who believed in them.

Go Senators! ❤️ We are so proud of the Class of 2026 and cannot wait to watch you walk across the graduation stage in just a few short weeks!
