*There will be a MUSICAL meeting on Tuesday, September 1st at 6:00 pm in the Upper Commons (outside the Music Commons) for those interested in helping build sets. Although the musical is in March, we will begin building sets very soon.
*Do you like cozy mysteries, performing, set design or the technical parts of a show then stop by Dr. Eaton's room 3302 Today after school for an informational meeting about this year's fall play Murder on the Orient Express. If you can't make the meeting check in with Grace Cosenza Stanley or Elliot Lanter for audition info.
"The frisbee club will be starting up fall meetings soon. Everyone is welcome; no experience is needed. If you would like to join, please attend a short informational meeting in room 1521 on Friday, September 4th after school. If you have any questions, please talk to Mr. Lowy in room 1521."
*Students interested in Esports tryouts are starting next week, Monday, August 31 through Saturday, September 5. All tryouts will be held after school at 4 p.m. in the Lanphier High School Esports Lab. Flyers listing each game title and date have been posted around the lunch room. Students should scan the QR code for more information and to sign up in advance.
*Are you interested in building community amongst the high schools and developing your leadership skills? Do you want to contribute to being a voice for students? Then the Superintendent’s Student Roundtable may be for you! The Roundtable is open to all high school students in District 186. Come to our first monthly meeting on Wednesday, September 2, from 3-4pm in the PD Room of the Administrative Center, 3063 Fiat Ave. to learn more!
*The boys JV golf team remained unbeaten last night with a win over Lincoln and Williamsville. Carter Borah led the team with a 39. Veer Garg added a 43. Spencer Wieneke shot a 45 and Ben Barham finished with a 46. Well done guys!!!
