Attention future Senators: On Wednesday, March 26th, SHS is hosting our Spring Activities Night. This is for 8th graders and their parents to visit us in the Commons from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. Meet coaches, sponsors and staff and learn about options for sports, clubs and activities next year. Yesterday, students from all three of our high schools had the ultimate inspo moment at the Today’s Challenge, Tomorrow’s Reward conference, thanks to Illinois Department of Transportation!🏆✨ The highlight? Hearing from the legendary Jackie Joyner-Kersee—East St. Louis native and SIX-time Olympic medalist! 🥇🔥 Moments like this = game changers. Our students walked away with wisdom, motivation, and that champion mindset. 💡💪 Huge thanks to IDOT for making it happen!
