The WMS/Iles/JMS baseball game scheduled for tomorrow has been rescheduled for 8/20 starting at 4:30 at Eisenhower Park.
Tomorrow's District 186 Softball games will be moved to Rotary Park, as last nights inch of rain soaked Lawless even more and it is not playable according to the park district. So we will have an A game and a B game tomorrow at Rotary Park vs. Greenville. We’re asking the girls to please be on time to the field by 9AM. The first game begins at 10AM.

In person registration is happening today August 5 from 11 am-6:00 pm. Registration will also be tomorrow August 6 from 8:00 am--2:00 pm. Incoming 6th grade parents are reminded to have their student's physicals and immunizations before school starts.

All incoming freshman mark your calendar for Freshman Forward on Thursday, August 8, 2024 | 8:24 a.m - 11:30 am
This event is an opportunity for Freshmen to meet students, teachers and administration at their home high school. Students will get to tour the facility and learn more about their high school experience!
Students need to report to the high school that is in their boundary area.Students can use our First Student bus service or be dropped off.
The Keep Kids in School Coalition will be offering physicals and immunizations for District 186 students on Wednesday, August 7th at the Sangamon County Department of Public Health. Sign-in hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.
No appointment needed.
The clinic will only serve District 186 students who are entering Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten, 6th and 9th grade and those who are new to Illinois who must provide a current physical exam and immunization record. All 12th grade students must provide proof of having received a dose of the meningococcal vaccine on or after their 16th birthday. The legal parent or guardian must accompany their child.
No sports physicals will be offered. Thank you!

Superintendent Jennifer Gill and School Board Members recognized the boys 7th grade track team from Jefferson Middle School that placed 2nd at state and the boys track team members from Washington Middle School that won first place in 4x400 and 4x200 at state ! Congratulations!

Salvation Army Summer Day Camp Opportunity
We are accepting registrations for our summer day camp that will be starting on June 11. We are accepting students going into 6th – 8th grade for 2024/2025 school year. All students who attended the after school program are welcome to attend as campers/helpers.

Spartan Baseball Camp Information
Attention all 6-8th graders attending Lanphier next year! Lanphier is having volleyball open gym starting July 10th & 11th in the main gym from 1pm - 3pm. If you have any questions please reach out to Coach Ty at tths2848@gmail.com or visit Lanphier's district page under the volleyball tab for more information. Make sure you wear tennis shoes, knee pads, hair pulled back and bring plenty of water. We will also have volleyball clinics that is open for everyone 6th, 7th and 8th grade July10th & 11th. Clinics are open to everyone even if you are not attending Lanphier.
Any 8th graders attending LHS next year that’s interested in playing volleyball may start open gym Monday, June 3 from 7PM-9PM in the Main Gym at LHS if you have any questions please contact Coach Ty at tths2848@gmail.com.
