Freedom of Information Requests

The Springfield Public Schools, as obligated under the Illinois Freedom of Information Act, responds to all written requests of the District's public records. Allowable fees, as outlined in Section 6 of the Act, may be assessed.

Requests for access to these records may be emailed to foia@sps186.org.

Please note that the Illinois Freedom of Information Act does not provide for release of student records. Individuals requesting student records are asked to contact the school of attendance directly with those requests.
