On February 23rd after school teachers and staff gathered for the second AVID ( Advancement Via Individual Determination) workshop of the school year for AVID professional development. The workshop focused on how to use AVID strategies in math and science for Kindergarten through 12th grade students. 
Teachers left with several AVID WICOR strategies that will increase engagement, rigor and learning for all.
