District 186 is excited to offer a middle school summer band experience for students enrolled in band who will be 6th, 7th, or 8th graders in the 2024-25 school year. There is no charge for students enrolled in District 186; there is a $40 tuition fee for non-District 186 students for the week of camp.
We want to ensure that all of our band students are prepared for their next school year. This summer music institute is available to any student enrolled in band for the next school year. It will be held at Jefferson Middle School, 3001 S. Allis Street.
Middle School Summer Institute students will attend from July 8 to 12 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (Monday through Friday). At the end of camp, there will be a live performance.
As we work on the customized schedule for students and select music, we will need some information. Use this link for each student who is interested in attending the program. Your email will be recorded when you submit this form.
We can offer transportation to District 186 students who are outside walking distance from Jefferson if you enroll by Wednesday, May 15th. All other registrations will close on May 31, 2024.
