student and mentor tying ties

Today was an extraordinary lunchtime experience for our seniors at Southeast High! Local community leaders joined us for an event called 'Ties to the Community,' offering mentorship and guidance to our young men. They learned the timeless art of tying a tie—a skill that will serve them well in job interviews, future events, and beyond. Each student not only mastered the knot but also received the tie they practiced with as a meaningful keepsake!(Click Here for Photos)

The atmosphere was filled with engaging conversations, as students gathered in small groups to discuss school life, future aspirations, and personal successes. These events, curated with care and dedication, forge strong connections between our students, our school, and our community. A heartfelt thanks to our community partners for their unwavering support.

Special appreciation goes to Monica Walls, our Family and Community Engagement Liaison at SSHS, for orchestrating such a memorable and impactful event!
