real men read

Real Men Read is a program designed to provide positive male role models to students by making monthly classroom visits to read to the classroom. Students then receive their own copy of that month’s book to take home and help them build their at-home library!

Mentors can expect to spend about 30-45 minutes in the classroom every month.  Mentorship of this nature has far-reaching effects, not only on children’s literacy skills but also on their social-emotional development and their investment in school.
