The Board of Education, Springfield School District No. 186, will convene the regular Board meeting of Monday, December 15, 2025, at 5:00 p.m., rather than the previously scheduled time of 5:30 p.m. Upon convening, the Board will immediately adjourn into Executive Session. It is expected that the Board will reconvene the open session beginning at 6:30 p.m., as regularly scheduled.
Additionally, the Board will hold a Special Meeting on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at 5:30 p.m., in the 2nd-floor PD Room of the District’s Administrative Center, 3063 Fiat Avenue, Springfield, Illinois. Upon convening the meeting, the Board will immediately adjourn into Executive Session to conduct professional development and consider personnel matters. It is not anticipated that the Board will take any action during this meeting.
Lastly, the Board will hold two Special Meetings at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 18, 2025, and Friday, December 19, 2025, at the Illinois Principals’ Association, 2940 Baker Drive. Upon convening the meetings, the Board will immediately adjourn into Executive Session to discuss personnel matters. It is not anticipated that the Board will take any action during these meetings.
