The boys hit the BOS Center court to open the night with Lanphier High School vs. SHG. The Lions battled all the way through, but the Cyclones pulled out the win.
And per usual, Lanphier cheerleaders + spirit section were loud, spunky and showing their Northside pride!
Game 2 delivered some drama.
Springfield Southeast High School vs. Springfield High School - Illinois brought a back-and-forth first half with momentum swinging both ways. But after the break, the Senators turned it up and pulled away in the second half for the win.
Halftime? Absolute show-stealer. The Scarlet Line lit up the floor with a fun, bright performance, while all of the schools’ spirit sections brought creative chants, nonstop cheers, and serious City pride.
And we’ve gotta give it up for the Lanphier band and drum line, serving epic tunes all night long and keeping the energy on point from start to finish!!!
