Fallon Jackson — Laketown Elementary

Fallon Jackson brings more than 20 years of experience in education, beginning her career as a paraprofessional and serving in a variety of roles supporting students and families. A proud Southeast High School graduate and longtime member of the District 186 community, Jackson is committed to creating a welcoming school environment where students and families feel seen, supported and empowered to reach their full potential.

Kandy Tarvin — Harvard Park Elementary

With more than 15 years in education, Ms.Tarvin has served as a substitute teacher, paraprofessional, classroom teacher, assistant principal and now principal. Her leadership is centered on creating a school community where every student feels a sense of belonging, growth is celebrated and each day provides a fresh opportunity to learn and succeed.

Nick Pickett — Lanphier High School

A 28-year educator, Mr. Pickett has served as a math teacher, instructional coach and assistant principal before returning to his Northside roots as principal of Lanphier High School. A Lanphier graduate, he is passionate about giving back to the community that shaped him and is focused on building a school where teaching and learning thrive and students, staff and families feel safe, welcomed and connected.

Vanessa Parkinson — Matheny-Withrow Elementary

Vanessa brings 26 years of experience in education, beginning her career in District 186 after graduating from college. Inspired by the educators who positively impacted her own life, she is committed to creating a safe, joyful and supportive learning environment where students, staff and families can thrive. Her leadership reflects a strong belief in collaboration, growth and helping others reach their potential.

Christine Staab — Jefferson Middle School

Christine Staab is beginning her 23rd year in education, all of which have been spent at Jefferson Middle School. With a background as a reading teacher and a lifelong connection to education, she is committed to creating a school where students are challenged, supported and prepared for success in high school and beyond. Her leadership is grounded in strong relationships with students, families and staff and a deep commitment to the Jefferson community.

Kassandra Johnson— Enos Elementary

Kassandra Johnson begins her first year as principal of Enos Elementary after 14 years in District 186, including 12 years as a teacher at Enos. A District 186 graduate herself, she brings a deep connection to the school and community she now leads. Her vision is centered on strong relationships, high expectations and a supportive school culture where students feel safe, valued and inspired to reach their full potential.
