Springfield-Decatur Area Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc in partnership with Vision Care Associates & District 186 launched the Lenses for Literacy program. This program will provide free eye exams and glasses for our students in need.
The sorority presented a check for $5,000 to Superintendent Jennifer Gill and Terrance Jordan, Director of Family and Community Engagement (FACE).
Two students were able to receive their appointments today at Vision Care thanks to this new program.
