Good afternoon due to the weather up north Peoria will not be traveling down for the boys basketball game today so the game has been canceled. Boys will still have practice 6 to 8. There will not be Poms or Cheer.

This is a friendly reminder that attendance matters, and getting to school on time each day makes a big difference in your child’s success. We need your partnership in helping students arrive on time and ready to learn.

Our doors open for breakfast at 7:30 AM, and students should be here no later than 7:50 AM so they have enough time to get to their lockers and be in their first class when the bell rings.

Your support in ensuring your child arrives on time is truly appreciated. Thank you for all you do to help us start each day strong!

Attention any student attending the winter formal. Drop-Off will be behind the school where the busses drop off/pick up. Students will enter through metal detectors. Please do not release kids from the cars until 5:55 as doors do not open until 6:00. Students must have purchased a ticket prior to attend.

Attention GMS: Due to the weather tonight's boys basketball game against Glenwood has been cancelled. Sorry for any inconvenience, we will let you know a rescheduled date when we know.

There will be an additional volleyball open gym for 7th and 8th grade students this Saturday from 3 to 5 as well as Sunday 12-3. Students will enter/exit at the breezeway doors next to the old district office building.

Today's boys game at East St Lous Mason Clark HAS BEEN CANCELLED due to a facilities issue. We will let you know when the reschedule date as soon as we know. There will not be practice for boys basketball either.

GMS United Way Week 2!

Tomorrow 10/31 is Pie In the Face day for the United Way! To participate in the opportunity students must purchase a raffle ticket tomorrow for $2. We have 9 staff members that will be being pie'd which means 9 lucky students will get to pie them! Students must have the money to purchase a raffle ticket. Also a reminder students ARE NOT allowed to wear costumes at School tomorrow. Thank you for support with this. Happy Halloween Eve!
