There is No school on Monday in observance of Columbus/ Indigenous Peoples Day
Today, Wednesday, October 4, a nationwide test of the National Wireless Emergency Alert System will begin at 1:20 p.m. All cell phone devices will have a text and sound sent to them during that time. This includes student cell phones that are powered on at the time of the test.
Tomorrow evening at 5:30 is our second Family and Community Engagement meeting. I hope to see everyone! Your input and thoughts are essential to your child's education. Please join us! The link to the agenda is provided below.

District 186 is excited to offer begin an after school Beginning Band Program for 5th grade students. Interested families will need to attend an information meeting for an opportunity to sign up and sign student/ parent contract.

We want to remind you that we are fast approaching the deadline for students to have their physical and immunization information turned in per state guidelines.
Please make sure that you have contacted your school’s nurse with your child’s upcoming physical/immunization appointment or that you have turned in your physical and immunization paperwork this week.
Students failing to provide required health information will be excluded from school starting October 1st.

If you have not already registered your student for the 2023-24 school year, please do so today. All students need to register, even those who attended Hazel Dell last school year. You can register in -person at Hazel Dell until 2:00 pm. Ms. Walker can help you navigate the online registration process, make copies of documents, and provide log-in support.
If you choose to utilize the online registration process at home or without coming to the school, please try registering your student today so we can begin building class schedules. In-person registration is from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm until school starts.
