Hello lions! Our annual Thanksgiving feast is on Wednesday, November 19th! All RSVPs are due by Friday, 11/14. Please use the link below to RSVP. Also attached is our weekly attendance average for last week. We saw a bit of a dip Monday-Wednesday, but then look at Thursday! We are still holding strong at averaging 90% student attendance each day. Keep it up! Finally, a quick reminder there is no school on Tuesday in observation of Veterans Day. See everyone tomorrow!

Happening tomorrow: Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library & Museum Presents : Abe’s Haunted Hallow | Oct 25
It's about to get spooky at the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum!
Ghosts and goblins will prowl the halls when the museum transforms into Abe's Haunted Hollow from 4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 25.
Guests can play games and win prizes, take eerie photos with our special selfie station, walk through a giant pumpkin, dance to the music of DJ Dino-mite, and even join a séance with Mrs. Lincoln!
The first 500 children receive a gift bag that includes a lighted Halloween wand!
Abe's Haunted Hollow is free to attend. Advance registration is not required.
Come in your favorite costume for all the fun in the museum and grab a spot afterwards for downtown Springfield's Halloween parade, which passes by the ALPLM.

This past week, which was a short one due to no school on Monday and Friday, we averaged 87% of students in attendance. Our goal this week is to average 89% or higher! Inclusion day at Lee is such an amazing time. The kids all come together to work on shared activities and this month we got to carve pumpkins for the Jack-o-Lantern Spectacular at the Washington Park Carillon.
Reminder that tomorrow, Thursday, October 16th is an hour early dismissal for students due to parent teacher conferences. We are looking forward to meeting with all of you during your scheduled conference time! If you need help scheduling your conference, please reach out to your child's classroom teacher or call 217-585-5828.
